The space

Bookings are open to all families with children or mature groups aged 27+ (all guests must be aged 27 or older for group bookings please)

This stylish holiday home offers an unbeatable coastal retreat for the whole family, including your pooch. The amazing outdoor space promises hours of fun with a huge pool waterslide, children's play equipment and a BBQ and pizza oven, and there are multiple living spaces indoors, all styled immaculately with a cool, contemporary flair. And of course, the sparkling ocean just 800m away!

The famous S.R Smith Typhoon waterslide stands 2.2m tall and comes with unique water delivery system offering lots of rushing water, which guantees hours of fun rides. The slide is made in USA and compliant with safety standard. It can accomodates sliders up to 124kg.

LIVING AND ENTERTAINMENT SPACE

Warmth, style and tasteful decor flow through the light-filled interior, offering practical spaces and a lovely, welcoming ambiance... from the moment you arrive, you know your stay here will be a very happy one.

The main living space has an open layout, with the lounge area featuring a large, plush lounge and TV with speaker system and Netflix. The fully equipped, air-conditioned kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, cooktop, microwave, full size fridge/freezer and coffee machine, and the dining area is adjacent.

A second lounge area offers plenty of stylish seating and a cosy wood-burning fireplace**, plus another big screen TV and board games for the family to enjoy.

The living space opens out to the vast undercover entertaining space where cosy evenings will linger well into the night enjoying use of the BBQ, pizza oven and outdoor wood fireplace**.

Leisurely afternoons can be spent in the sunny courtyard sitting back around the outdoor table or lounging by the solar heated pool. *Gas heating on the pool is also available upon request in the cooler months (heating water to 28 degree to enjoy the pool year-round), for an additional fee.
The large grassed section of the yard provides even more entertainment for the kids with a fantastic cubby house and swing set.

The house comfortably accommodates 9 guests, with 4 air-conditioned bedrooms, all with ceiling fan, and 2 bathrooms.

There is also a sofa bed in the living zone, which can be prepared for use by a child ONLY upon request.

LOCATION

Here at Sand Dunes, you are just 800m to the Tootgarook Foreshore Reserve and the picturesque Bay Trail. The popular trail winds 30km along the coastline, connecting Safety Beach to Portsea, so you can walk, run or ride along it as far or as little as you wish. This stretch of the Mornington Peninsula provides endless options of pristine beaches, leafy seaside reserve and stunning scenery.
The location really is amazing with the Peninsula Hot Springs and Golf Courses a only a short 5 minute drive away!
A 20 minute walk will find you at the year round, off lead, dog friendly beach.

You are spoilt for choice for great dining options and nearby shops, although of course, you may wish to stick with the wood-fire pizza*** option in your own backyard!

**HEATED POOL - The property offers a gorgeous solar heated pool year round.

The gas heating can be switched on upon request, for an additional fee $295.00 per stay (or per week). If you require the gas heating to be switched on, please advise us when you secure your reservation. Because of the expensive gas fee, we can't turn on the gas heating the day before guests arrive. The gas heater is typically switched on early in the morning on the arrival day and takes 8-10 hours to reach a temperature of 26-28°C by 4-6 pm, depending on the ambient temperature.**

***FIREWOOD - Unfortunately, we don’t provide firewood for fireplace and pizza oven. However, you can purchase firewood conveniently from the nearby Bunnings store, which is just a 7-minute drive away.***
